Well, my real name is Thomas Ware, which is the name I use in professional circles. My friends call me Tommy. I currently work as a middle level administrator and adjunct history instructor at a community college in western Alabama. I am over-educated and have more interests than I can track. I enjoy aircraft (obviously), military history, meteorology, astronomy, computers, railfanning, gaming (computer, console, and role-playing), football, and electronics. I hold an extra class amateur radio license (NB5TW), but am less active in that arena these days. I enjoy reading fantasy, cyperpunk, and naval histories and
I like classic and hard rock, classical music, 70s music, and soundtracks. If all of that sounds geeky, well, I can live with that.

Why am I called Lord Ware?

Well, that name was bestowed upon me by one of my colleagues at work during fantasy football season (we have a faculty league). He is a literature instructor and possesses a flair for the dramatic. I certainly am not pretentious enough to christen myself with such a title. The name just sort of stuck with the employees of the college and I thought it would make a more catchy title for my page than just "Tommy Ware's Home Page."
